About Iina...

Hi there! :)

I'm a former workaholic and former city girl in my late thirties. Today I live in a small town app. 1 hour ride from Helsinki and I'm a proud mother of the world's cutest little baby boy.

I can't wait to receive postcards from all over the world and learn a few things about you and find out what's happening in your home town or country.

Here's a list of what type of cards I like, in case you are wondering what kind of postcard you should send me. In general I like single view cards with no text on the picture side of the card.

Themes that I like:

Owls
Puffins
Nijntje/Miffy and other D. Bruna characters
Krtek/Mole
Babar
Barbababa
Hello Kitty
Emily the Strange
Calvin & Hobbes
Mutts
Tintin
Bamse (maailman vahvin nalle)
Moomins (original Tove Jansson's illustratons)
L.J. Vis illustrations
Blanca Gomez illustrations
Navitrolla
Teddybears (pictures, not drawn, preferably not with babies or animals, no text)
Hey Ugly
Blythe
Toys
Fruits, vegetables
Drinks, wine
Wine
Reprints of old advertisements
Public transportation (especially trams)
Cars (especially old ones)
Old towns/narrow streets
Close ups of doors & windows
Any nice photograph (especially close-ups)
Anything odd/unusual

I would also love to receive any of these cards: http://www.flickr.com/photos/iinaj/favorites/ or any of the cards marked as a favourite on my postcard wall.

If possible don't send me view cards, especially not multiviews. However, please feel free to send me any kind of card, especially the kind of card you think should be in my wish list. :)

I would love to receive the postcards written and stamped (no envelope). I also love pretty stamps and therefore appreciate beautiful stamps and hand cancellations.

Thank you very much! Can't wait to receive you card!
