How nice that you have drawn my profile, received a card from me, or maybe just passing through ^_^
Short version: I enjoy tourist postcards from your local area :D

Long version:
I am 27 years old, living with my fiancé Tobias (bobibas on postcrossing). I'm a PhD student in international development in Newcastle (England) on short leave back home in Holland and for this time, thought I would pick up postcrossing again for a bit.
My biggest addictions are sending/receiving mail and traveling! Postcrossing is the perfect way to combine both... while waiting for my next trip :)

I prefer cards that show something of your city or country, a tourist sight, a scenery, something like that... I enjoy
- street views/scenes
- skylines
- if you're from asia: pagodas/temples
- from germany: timbered houses (fachwerkhaus)
- Scandinavia: lakes, fjords, little colored houses,.. :)
- a postcard featuring a festival in your town/region
- multi-views;
in particular :), BUT I'm sure I will enjoy any touristy card your region has to offer. If you don't have the classic tourist cards, I also enjoy:
- Anton Pieck;
- Scandinavian children stories illustrations (Astrid Lindgren, Moomins, Nils Holgersson, Erkens Marie Persson,...);
- Old fashioned/original illustrations from the Wizard of Oz (or the movie!), or Alice in Wonderland;
- Other depictions of classic fairy tales (little red riding hood in particular!) both modern and old fashioned.
- Garden gnomes!
- Orangutans
- Cuteness from Japan (Hello Kitty, Cinnamoangels, Monchhichi... :))
But please don't go out of your way to find those for me if you have perfectly nice tourist cards :D Especially if you are from a rarer country, please send me pictures of your surroundings/country :)!
I also love pretty stamps :)

I like cards with lots of writing :) Tell me about your day, your life... Tell me what you love about your country! Or whatever you want :)!

Though of course, I happily take what you send me, I would prefer NOT to receive ad cards, home made, seasonal or animal cards. Please don't give my address out to third parties eg touchnote.

Jeg boede i København for halvandet år men desværre kan jeg ikke huske meget godt endnu at tale dansk. Hjælp mig :) er du dansk eller norsk, så vil jeg meget gerne prøve at læse dit kort en dine smukke språger.

Och är du Svensk, nu vil jag också lära att prata svenska. Jag älskar ditt språk. Tack så mycket för att skrive mig på svenska.

Nederlandse postcrossers: ik hou ook van Nederlandse toeristenkaartjes uit je stad/streek of gewoon een "Holland" kaartje :)

I scan every card I receive, it just might take some time! :) If you want, you can take a look to avoid duplicates :)!
