About Iris_and_Thalia...

Hello and thanks for visiting our profile.
First of all, please write the card ID somewhere else than the bottom of the card. The Dutch post has the tendency to put some strange sticker below the adress, so many IDs I've to guess

My 7yo daughter asked me if she could join postcrossing, since stamps are expensive, I let her join my account. Every second card will be dictated by her. I (the mom) will be curious how this goes.

I (the mom) work at a school as a teachers assistent for physics and in my free time I knit socks, read books, drink a lot of tea, play a little magic the gathering, (re)watch red dwarf and time team, ooh and eat chocolat or cheese in big amounts :)

my 7yo goes to school, second class (we call it groep 4). She can speak a bit of English, but she learned how to write in Dutch. She just started learning chess, so cards with chess on it are very welcome
She is a big fan of trying to skip bedtime and my little ponies. Her favorite stuffed animal is named kindje beer (child bear) and she loves eating sushi and cuddling with her parents

My favorites are
- pinguins
- purple
- jetoy cats
- cursing hedgehog
- moomin
- marimekko any design is welcome
- books (terry pratchett or neil gaiman would be awesome!).

My 7yo girl loves
- colours (especially with rainbows or rainbow colours)
- pigs
- owls.
- die Sendung mit der Maus
- Krtek (little mole).
- hello kitty
- strawberry shortcake
- my little ponies
- chess

But dont worry if you have non of our favorites, because any card is welcome (that includes home made cards, addcards, freecards, cut out of your cerealbox cards..)

Please use stamps. I collect them for a friend of mine who collects them for his parents. He is also a postcrosser and he introduced postcrossing to me..
