Hello, fellow postcrossers!

We are a married Finnish/American couple with grown up/teen kids. We are very interested in learning more about anthropology, history and cultures of countries around the world, especially as we are an "intercultural" couple. She's a Finn and he's Mexican-American with Apache roots from a border town in Texas. Cultural diversity can truly turn your life in to an amazing adventure :-)

We both love outdoors life, camping, nature, traveling, each other and good food.

Tony loves American football and is a Dallas Cowboys fan. Maria is kind of a nerd, a sci-fi fan, a true browncoat (Firefly fan) and whovian (Doctor Who fan). She has read all Commissaire Maigret books she could find, so he promised to take her to Paris one day. She promised to cook him tamales for that. She'll probably eat at least half of them herself though. :-)

For us postcrossing is about experiencing and sharing the world with other people. We love reading about you, your country and your culture or anything else you want to share with us. Fun facts are always... fun :-)

We love all real postcards, but if you need inspiration, here are some card themes we enjoy:

♥♥♥ Animals from your country, especially endangered animals and bears
♥♥♥ Nurses and hospitals
♥♥♥ Laundromats, factories, old gas stations
♥♥♥ Banksy and other graffiti art
♥♥♥ House boats, canal boats and canals in general
♥♥♥ Donkeys, donkeys and more donkeys :-) (Because her favorite book as a child was a Little Grey Donkey, and donkeys still make her heart melt)
♥♥♥ Tourist cards, view cards
♥♥♥ American football, especially Dallas Cowboys
♥♥♥ Coloring postcards (Postcards sold with a coloring picture, and colored by you)
♥♥♥ Maxicards, including unofficial maxicards. They are just fun, we're not collectors.
♥♥♥ ANYTHING! World is full of weird and wonderful stuff! Share it with us! We love all weird postcards that tell a story! Weird humor? Great, we have sense for that too!

If you're traveling in other country, it's okay to send a card from your travels too. :-)

Please, no stickers, thank you. We have a family member allergic to some sticker glue. Stamps (self adhesive stamps too) are okay. Thank you for your understanding.
