update 4-4-20 I would like to know how things are going with the covid-19 and how they are being handled in your parts of the world, even if you live in my state.
My name is Lindsay, I am a mother of a teenager, a wife and a bit of a nerd. I enjoy comic books and cartoons. But, I also love being outside and enjoying nature and seeing animals no matter how weird or creepy. I love national parks, comic book conventions, and reading fanfiction. Getting postcards in the mail always makes me happy. I don't mind if its a duplicate to one I've already received.
I am also a mail carrier in a rural town. I'd love to hear stories about anything postal related. I am a huge animal lover. I have five tattoos, one is of a pawprint on my left shoulder blade. I love traveling around the US and one day I hope to travel the world. My mom just bought an RV so we can take our dogs on trips with us. Any tips for traveling with dogs would be appreciated.
My favorite thing about postcrossing is the wonderful names from around the world. If your name has a special meaning please tell me about it.
I have found it's easier to pick a postcard to send if the other person has a list of favorites. If you don't have anything from my favorite list, don't worry about it. I love any and all postcards I receive.
Some of my favorite things -
Really, any kind of dog
Horror, scary theme, movie or otherwise
Lantern Press postcards
Christopher Arndt postcards
Biggest ball of yarn, giant rubber band ball or something similar
Ripley's Believe it or not
Animal(no cock roaches please - those are the things of nightmares)
Imgur (I'm curious how many other imgurians are on postcrossing)
The Walking Dead
Supernatural (tv series) Dean is my daughters favorite
Celebrities (No reality tv people)
People in traditional clothing
I also like to receive seasonal, any kind of holiday any time of the year, and birthday postcards.
My favorite list is a collection of my favorite received cards and my favorites from other peoples galleries.
If your country makes postcrossing stamps, please use them when sending a postcard to me. The United States doesn't make any yet, and I would really love to see them from all over the world.
I collect coins from everywhere, if anyone wants to trade, feel free to message me.
Also, if anyone plays pokemon go, feel free to add me as a friend. My trainer number is 2636 7548 5563.
