I'm from the US but live & work in London. I speak intermediate Finnish, intermediate French, intermediate German, & conversational Japanese (I can read hiragana, katakana, & some kanji), so please write to me in those languages if you speak them!

I'm really enjoying sending & receiving postcards through this site!

Here are some things I'd especially like on postcards:

* tea
* fruit/vegetables or plants
* interesting architecture
* graffiti
* street fashion photography
* animal photographs (especially birds like crows or seagulls or falcons, or vultures!; also sea animals like seals or otters)
* books
* subways/buses/trams/ferries
* autumn leaves
* ginkgo or magnolia trees or leaves
* shoes

Please don't send cards with advertising on them; please don't send any religious holiday (Christmas, etc.) cards.

If you don't know what to write on a postcard to me, here are some ideas:

* What you like about your town/city/country
* Something about your everyday routine
* What the weather is today
* What season you like best & why
* Something positive that helps you through difficult times
* Something you are looking forward to this year
* Or perhaps a piece of poetry you like (nothing religious please)
