Greetings everyone. I live in Oakland, California, USA and in my early 50's. I've always been interested in photography, travel and correspondence, so when I stumbled upon postcrossing.com, I figured this is a great combination. I only have one preference, please no envelopes. If you need an idea of what to send, how about the following?

motorcycles (postcard and/or stamps)
ad cards (I think these are great, a huge message in one image)

If you don't know what to write, here are some hints:
What you ate today
What's the weather
How do you get to school/work
What do you like (eat, listen, read, watch, etc...)
If I visit your city, what Chinese restaurant would you recommend.
If I visit your city, what inexpensive restaurant would you recommend

P.S. why do I have a San Francisco address if I live in Oakland? I use to move a lot and I haven't switched companies in over 20 years, so it was easier for me to use a stable address.
