About Holly...
I am a teacher and I teach Spanish to students between 14-17 years of age. If you speak Spanish, please write to me in that language rather than in English. That way I can share it with my students!
We have a large map in our classroom where we display all of the postcards that we receive and pin the places they came from on the map. The students are very excited to receive postcards and are mostly interested in learning about what daily life is like in other countries. We would love to know any or all of the following:
-Your favorite song
-Your favorite TV show
-Your favorite festival or celebration in your country
-Your favorite place to visit in your country
-What a normal day in your life is like
We will gladly take postcards in envelopes that have a small item from your country (ticket stub, stickers, a small coin, page from a magazine, newspaper clipping, anything!)
We especially like postcards that show...
-historical sites
-maps or the geography of where you live
-natural sites (waterfalls, forests, parks, etc)
-buildings (churches, government buildings, castles, etc.)
-a holiday celebration
-people of your country
-food
-crafts or folk art from your country
...but we are always excited to get any postcard that you can send. Thank You!
