About Huihui...

Hi everyone!

My name is Huihui (In Chinese: 慧慧)and am currently attending college (second year) in St. Paul, Minnesota. Right now I am studying abroad in Hirakata, Japan. I lived in New York City for seven years before I came to college. I am originally from Dalian, China. This year I will be traveling a lot.

I am an enthusiast of languages, so please if you can or write something in your native language that would be great! I am a linguistics and religious studies double major! If you also happened to study one of these disciplines, it would be nice to hear from you!

As for postcards, any kind of card is appreciated. My favorite themes are:
- Cats 猫
- Nature 自然
- Historical sites/artifacts (earlier than the 1900s) 历史遗迹/物件
- Alphabet/glyphs from your native language
- Traditional Costume
- Paintings, sculptures (especially Ancient Greek sculptures), art-related objects
- Maps 地图
- Multi-view card showing your city/country
- Books, mailboxes, and fun cards
- Girl reading a book
- Ancient Greek and Roman, early Civilizations, traditional Chinese objects
- Cards that have your native language on it 带有本国文字的卡片
- Birthday greetings in December

I DON’T like: war, politics, weapons (except historical objects), mummies, tombs (excluding historical sites).

I understand English and Chinese 中文 (简/繁), intermediate Spanish (espanõl), and some Japanese. Please if you are a native speaker of any of these languages, feel free to write me messages in your native language! If you don't know what to write on the postcard, I'd love to know facts about your country and good travel destinations.

Also, if you want to write me a letter instead of a postcard please do not hesitate to do so. I love handwritten letters as much as postcards.
