Hello everyone! My name is Masha (russian variant for Maria) and I'm from Moscow.
I love my city but I also really enjoy travelling to different towns and contries and meeting new people from all over the world! I'm studying arts and foreign languages and I'm interested in different cultures, traditions, national cuisine.

I've got lots of different hobbies and interests and here are some of them:

1) I love indie-rock and alternative music by Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys, Blur, BØRNS, Franz Ferdinand, Coldplay, Glass Animals, the Kooks, Saint Motel, alt-J, AWOLNATION, Foals, Fun., Hot Chip, Ivan Dorn, Kaiser Chiefs, Lana del Rey, the Last Shaddow Puppets, Mgzavrebi, Miike Snow, Oh Wonder, Royal Blood, the Strokes, the White Stripes, the XX (hopefully I haven't missed any of my favourites)

2) I'm interested in cinematography, my favourite film is Amélie (Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulain) and I'm fond of such directors as Wes Anderson, Woody Allen, Guy Ritchie, Quentin Tarantino and Coen brothers. I also love Harry Potter movies! <3

3) I love animals, especially cats (I've got two black cats at home), penguins and dolphins.

4) I'm a big fan of football, I support Barcelona FC (my personal #1), Liverpool FC, Juventus and Bayern Munich. I used to play tennis professionally when I was a teenager but now it's just a hobby.

5) When I have free time I enjoy reading books. I prefer detectives (Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Agatha Christie), science fiction (Ray Bradbury, Douglas Adams) and short stories (P.G. Wodehouse, O'Henry, Mark Twain).

6) I can't live without watching TV-series! My most favourite one is the House of cards <3. And I've seen so many of series that it seems to be easier to name some series that I haven't watched than making a list of those I've seen.

7) I'm an amateur journalist and photographer, you can find some of my pictures and stories on instagram @m.ip.

8) Travelling is the thing I love the most! There are so many places more to visit and that's the best thing about it! <3
