Hi friends of postcards! I am Helena from Central Finland, South Ostrobothnia, where I am living in a small country town with my husband and a black and white cat.. I like all kinds of handicrafts, art, old fashioned things. My passion is to collect stamps from all over the world; new ones, old ones, used and unused, (please, unbroken stamps). I love genealogy, it is so interesting to search for ancestors!

I like lighthouses, windmills, churches, national costumes, beautiful landscapes and buildings. The typical subjects of your place of residence, art card or card with old-fashioned things on are appreciated, but all kinds of cards are welcome. But one exception - I don't like animal cards. I hope, if it is possible and doesn’t cost too much, that you could send the card in an envelope, so I don’t need to ruin your beautiful card for getting the stamp into my collections. Please, could you stick beautiful stamp(s) on the card or envelope. I would be very happy!!! Please, watch my favorite cards. I really would like to receive one of them!

When I'll get your address, I try to find one of your favorite cards for sending you if it is possible only. I'll never send unwritten card, because I like to write something to you. I hope you'll do in the same way.

Toivon saavani kauniin maisemakortin, kirkon tai jonkun muun rakennuksen kuvan kotipaikkakunnaltasi. Majakat, tuulimyllyt ja vanhat esineet ovat myös suosikkejani, samoin eri paikkakuntien kansallispuvut ja kaikki, mikä liittyy kansanperinteeseen; vaatteet, ruuat, käsityöt jne.

Kerään suomalaisten taiteilijoiden mm. Kaarina Toivasen, Martta Wendelinin, Rudolf Koivun, Virpi Pekkalan, Marja-Liisa Pitkärannan, Inge Löökin, Minna Immosen, Kimmo Pälikön ja Osmo "Omppu" Omenamäen kortteja. Minulla on myös muutama Mauri Kunnaksen, Jaana Aallon, Carl Larssonin, Jenny Nyströmin, Kaj Stenvallin ja Raija Nokkalan kortti. Jos sinulla sattuu olemaan jonkun suomalaisen taiteilijan kortti, olisin ikionnellinen, jos lähettäisit sen minulle! Kaikenlainen taide yleensäkin on lähellä sydäntäni. Olen "kaikkiruokainen", mutta en erikoisemmin välitä eläinkorteista. Jos suinkin on mahdollista, voisitko lähettää korttisi kirjekuoressa, johon olet liimannut kauniin postimerkin täydentämään postimerkkikokoelmaani. Jään odottamaan ihanaa korttiasi!
