I found out about Postcrossings from a friend over dinner tonight and signed up as soon as I got home. I love postcards (and travel and people’s stories) so this seems like a great idea. I grew up in Ohio. Moved to California in the 80s, to my husband’s hometown, where we raised our children. I taught, mostly 2nd grade and am now I an administrator at a charter school in Stockton. I enjoy the local history of places and the people that made their lives there. I enjoy museums—art and history. Love to read and love books—including chilrden’s books. Also enjoy fabric arts—needlework, quilts, knitting and the artistry of handwork. I really don’t have any postcard preferences; I’ll be happy to see what anyone chooses to send.
