About Julia...

Hi,

My name is Julia and I'm from Ukraine. I live near Kyiv, and my region is returning to a normal life after invasion, occupation and attack of the russian terrorists.

One of the main hobbies of mine is travelling.
I'm among those lucky people who have been in all 24 regions of Ukraine, its all regional capitals, and in the Republic of Crimea.
I have visited more than 40 countries on different continents.
I like to learn foreign languages and read books in the language they were originally written.
I also enjoy drawing, filling my bullet-journal, and of course, I'm a fan of postcrossing. But usually it is a hard choice what to do when I have a free time, because all these hobbies are rather time-consuming. However, every minute is precious and brings so much fun!

Here are the ideas of postcards I'd be glad to receive (but remember, it's only the ideas, postcrossing is not about collecting, it's about connecting people - so all cards are welcome!):

‣ illustrated editions of the National Parks of the world (like America's 59parks, vintage Canada parks, Lithuania NPs, etc.) and in general stories about some NP are highly appreciated;
‣ all Inge Löök and Rolf Lidberg illustrations;
‣ infographics (like Greetings from... by Postallove, MOTW from Postcardsmarket, World Travel by Nisan, or similar);
‣ maxicards (postcards with a matching stamp on the front);
‣ seasonal greetings for Christmas and New Year, Halloween, Midsummer;
‣ postcards made of wood, metal, cork, fabric, foil, knit, message in bottle, magnetic, silk, letterpress, ceramic, puzzle postcards, etc;
‣ you may also check my favourites gallery, I put there cards I like and do not have yet.

I also like beautiful stamps, especially Europa CEPT, Lighthouses, landscape and parks, everything related to tourism, something traditional, so please if you have some, use these stamps on my postcard. I'd be really grateful!

One day I'm planning to visit your country (for sure!) and want to be prepared till then. So please write me:
‣ what is your favourite place in your country and/or on Earth?
‣ was there a place that impressed you the most?
‣ what tradition or custom of your country you think is the most colourful or unusual for others?

I speak English!
Ich spreche Deutsch!
Comprendo Español!

And I'm looking forward to receiving a card from you!
