graugans(or Natascha) is a member in Germany . She has been a member for over 3 years (1,439 days).
I live in a small town in the southwest of Germany and work in adult education.
In my spare time I love to read, draw, listen to music and take long walks in the forests. Whenever I can I go to concerts, museums or art exhibitions.
Postcards have always been one of my interests. The first postcard I've ever received was one my grandfather sent me from a trip when I was about 8 or 9 years old. Later I exchanged postcards with friends every time we went away during school breaks, I keep them all in a box that I call my "rememberance box".
When it comes to postcards, the back side (text) is just as important to me as the front side (picture)! I'd like to receive interesting, meaningful or even funny messages - no matter if you write about yourself or the place you live in, your day, your hobby, a poem, drawing, quote - or whatever you think is worth sharing! Just surprise me!
My wishlist for 2017 is rather short. If you come across any of these, I would be ever so happy to receive the following:
- people reading books
- Street Art or Urban Art
- public transport (bus, underground/metro, tram, streetcar, etc.)
- The Beatles
- flower bouquets (only paintings or illustrations, no photos)
If you have some time to spare, you can also have a look at my Favorites to get an idea of what I like. Those are postcards I haven't received yet.
Of course, these are not a must! Feel free to send whatever you think I will like. Anything is welcome: the more unusual or unique, the better. By the way, I DO like free cards or ad cards, especially event cards of museums, exhibitions, festivals and so on!
