About giraffer...

Hello. I'm a Japanese that living on the east side of Tokyo bay. My hobby is visiting zoo or aquarium to take photos of animals. Recently I also started to practice drawing picture of animals, but I'm not so good at that yet : )

I like "written and stamped" postcard very much. I'd be happy that if you could write anything about you and your surroundings on your postcard.
If you don't know what to write, please introduce some tourists spots of your town to me. If there's a museum or zoo or beautiful scenery or so on, the information about that is very good.
Thanks in advance : )

One of my few collection theme is "ZOO postcard". It means the postcard that is sold in a zoo, and printed the zoo's own animals with name of the zoo. For example:

But of course I know that not so many people have such a card, so please don't overdo it.
Please send me a postcard which you think it nice for me, simply. Thank you : )

My another hobby is to collect pictorial postmarks.
Do you know 風景印 (Fukei-in) ? In Japan, many post offices (45% of the whole) have its original pictorial postmark (Fukei-in). It also can be stamped without sending a mail, so there's a lot of Japanese people that collecting them and of course me too.
I recommend to try to get one if you have a chance to come to Japan.
I wrote some guide to get Fukei-in In Japan for travelers.

I'm also interested in pictorial postmarks from other countries. I'd be so glad that if there is any pictorial postmark from your card. (But of course you don't have to overdo it.) Thank you.
