Hello Postcrossing world!

My name is Harley and I live in the metro Boston area. I was born in Concord, Massachusetts where the first shot of the Revolutionary war was fired. Around the age of 8 my family moved to Florida and I grew up on the beaches of Venice where skateboarding and punk rock were the staples of my youth. I love music, art, and being in tune with nature. I love to travel and try to get in some good live music or meet local artists when I can. Vintage and antiques are a huge passion of mine and I made a COVID career change to follow these passions. I have a fun little vintage ETSY shop on the side; feel free to check it out, like the shop, or like some items! (See above in the website info, it always helps the algorithm). I also write poetry and recently just completed my first self-publishing of a 20 poem chapbook, dedicated to post card senders and recipients!

With all that is happening in Eastern Europe and Russia, it can be very hard to not have an opinion and feel caught between all the feelings and thoughts that form our reactions. I support peace. I support the Ukraine. I support the Russian people who also want peace. May all of this uncertainty and destruction end soon, with no more loss of life.

I am always extremely excited to connect with authentic individuals of all race, nationality, religion, and gender orientation in this Post Crossing community. Each connection we make is one step closer towards the realization of community and understanding on a global scope. :)
