About Gaye...

I am Happily married with a son and daughter who have completed their 4year Uni degrees (2014).
I'm a hair stylist who has been working as a school learning support officer for 17 years and continue to do hair for family and friends. I worked in primary school setting for several years and moved onto high school with a particular student who has osteogenesis imperfect (brittle bones).
Would love to receive postcards from anyone wanting to share their knowledge of their home town, country and any other interesting facts.
We have a beautiful dingo cross blue healer dog named Prinny. I have been working full time for a while and this year only 3 days a week : ) so hoping to catch up on gardening and maybe even get a quilt or two done. Maybe even try a few new recipes in the kitchen.
I must love sunsets and sunrises (laughing), I have many, many photos and videos. Early riser and do love to watch sunrises.
Looking forward to receiving postcards from across the world.
Any postcards of anything, your home town or a place you like or something you think is interesting or beautiful would be wonderful thank you.
!!Have received 2 postcards now,30/1/15. Lovely thank you.

Well I have now a number of expired postcard :( so I am now scanning front and back of all I send so I can replicate and resend. I don't know if this is the 'done thing' or not but I hate the idea I have sent something and the other person didn't receive it. I did forget to put ID on some cards but I usually write it twice :).

I love all my postcards. The cards I have received have inspired me to try and be more decorative particularly when we do not have 'beautiful' stamps like some other countries.
Thank you for information on how to acquire postcards online as we have about 11 different postcards in my home town area.

Thank you to the lovely people who replied to my messages regarding expired cards. Even had one arrived in Russia the day after I had sent the receiver the scans of her card :). Had planned to send another that night, checked my emails and she had sent a photograph of her 'missing' card propped up on her laptop. I was delighted that she had finally received her original card and she seem to be equally as happy.
Postcrossing thrill this week, 5 cards on Tuesday in the mail and 3 on Wednesday. Oh and my first 3D from Seattle :)thank you to the whole Postcrossing community.

Expired Cards - :(

AU-464641 Russia - 2 cards sent, 1 letter with photos of cards and message sent, 2 email messages, no reply :(
