I live in Atlanta, capital of the state of Georgia, USA, in a lovely retirement community. I am 82 years young.
All my career was spent in the state of Tennessee, USA, home of Elvis Presley and Jack Daniels whiskey. I worked as Director of Engineering Procedures for the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) which is a Utility Operations and Construction company. I also worked as a Quality Assurance Specialist and as Director of Corrective Actions for Oak Ridge National Laboratory that does nuclear research.
I was the first woman to climb a nuclear plant cooling tower (507 feet) at TVA (maybe in the world!). I loved my work and I love the freedom of retirement.
My greatest treasure is my 2 daughters and their families.
My hobbies are gardening, reading, walking, swimming, Sudoku and jigsaw puzzles.
I drive a little red Chevrolet. I feel like a "Cool Mama."
I am writing my memoir--have completed around 50 chapters.
My personal motto is: Be Love, Give Love, Receive Love.
