About me:

Education: Bachelors in history/sociology and a Masters in library science

Career: Currently looking for a job in digital marketing

Likes/hobbies: books, film, Hello Kitty and other kawaii things, coloring, knitting, watercolor, board games, video games, most music genres and types of food

Pets: Two pet budgies, River and Skyler, who are both blue and for almost two years now. They enjoy watching Fraggle Rock (we're big on Muppets here) and listening to the Beach Boys. I love birds in general. Their songs make me happy.

Where I live: I currently live with my husband in a Milwaukie (the one in Oregon that ends in "ie" and not "ee"), a small town outside Portland in the Pacific Northwest the United States. It is home to the food company Bob's Red Mill (known nationally for its gluten-free products) as well as Dark Horse Comics. It is on the Willamette River. I live a short drive from Mt. Hood and the Oregon Coast.

What I like about where I live: I really like the food and nature here. The agriculture is great here and I enjoy shopping for fruits and veggies at the local farmer's market. There are many nice craft/yarn stores and places to play board games. I enjoy hanging out near the Willamette River and going to food carts. There are a lot of trees. We have great public transit and libraries.

My travels: I have been to several US states, Canada, the UK, Taiwan, Cuba (on an educational visa) and Argentina. I just went on a cruise to Alaska with eleven family members which was easily one of the best trips I’ve been on. My next trip In addition to Oregon, I have also lived in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Massachusetts and New York. My last regional trip was to Rockaway Beach on the Oregon Coast.,My husband and I would like to visit Greece and Italy as well as cruise the Panama Canal.

Note: I am neurodivergent and have both ADHD and dyspraxia (little know neurodivergence that impacts movement coordination and processing). Due to dyspraxia, which impacts tasks involving motor skills, I may accidentally smudge ink and sometimes my handwriting can be hard to read. I also can have trouble finding/keeping track of things (like postcards). Thanks in advance for your patience and understanding.
