I'm Gail and live near Birmingham in the UK. I'm 56 and love positivity!

I am happy to receive any card as I regard them as gifts :o) They can be any size or shape.

I don't collect postcards or stamps but I do want to collect greetings and inspiration from around the world!! I joined Postcrossing so that I would have a reason to paint. Send me something that would make me say "WOW! I WISH I COULD PAINT THIS!!" :o)

I would love to receive YOUR artwork or a card that would inspire me to paint. Maybe a view of your town that you love. A photo you have taken? Perhaps you have a child or grandchild that would enjoy making me a card. I WOULD LOVE IT!! Or perhaps a card that reflects your personality and sums you up perfectly (but tell me why).

I get a great deal of pleasure watching artists/crafters/experts creating their work. Whether it's brick laying, painting, pottery throwing, hair braiding, woodworking or musicians, I love it! I find it relaxing and mesmerizing. I really admire people's skills and expertise. If you know more than one language... WOW!!! I am jealous!

I really enjoy the languages that don't use the Latin Alphabet such as those from the Orient, India and Russia. Fascinating!! I found an app that will translate and it's great! **********

I will be painting all my cards. I'm not brilliant and the National Gallery won't be knocking on my door anytime soon but it will be heartfelt and I will write as much as I can squeeze on the card.

We should consider ourselves blessed and lucky that we have created a connection in our big world! And thank you in advance for taking the time to send me a card 💙💙💙💙💙
