About frogofozroz...

Just a brief snapshot of me. I'm a retired executive/office assistant (the current fancy name for executive secretary); married and lived in the same city I was born in -- Chicago, Illinois, USA -- for 73 years before recently moving to Dyer, Indiana, which is just a hop, skip and a jump from my previous home. But still living in the snowbelt of Lake Michigan (one of the 5 Great Lakes of North America), I will no longer have to deal with shoveling snow all winter (and after quite a few years of that, and now a bad back, I'm grateful) as the homeowners' association takes care of this chore.

I enjoy travel -- both near & far. Also am an avid hiker, especially love the sand dunes of Lake Michigan in Indiana and Michigan, USA. Reading, gardening (though in a much smaller garden now than I had for many years), theater and fine dining (either out or prepared at home) are always on my agenda.

I'm also a big fan of the Wizard of OZ movie from 1939, with my favorite character being the Wicked Witch of the West. I've also collected frog figurines most of my life. But with my recent move I've had to downsize that collection, keeping only the most sentimental favorites..

Postcards on all subjects are welcome (from the commonplace to the unusual) -- your hometown, places you like to visit or those that reflect your hobby or special interests, a card that makes you smile, frogs, The Wizard of Oz, the arts, food. The list is endless, maybe too endless. So, surprise me. I will appreciate whatever card you take the time to send to me.

Just one request -- could you please write the date you are sending on the card? I like knowing how long it takes cards to reach me as soon as I receive them (before I sit at my computer to register them).
