About Friedhelm...

I'm a mechanical engineer and enjoying retirement.
I live with my wife in a 750 year old city with 68000 inhabitants in Germany. I have three adult granddaughters.
I'm an avid tennis player. Unfortunately I have to quit for health reasons this active sport after 40 years. My other hobbies are photographing and traveling to foreign countries to learn about other people and their cultures 📷 ✈ . Postcrossing is another way by people from all over the world to experience something new.
I love postcards of famous buildings 🏛🏰, beautiful landscapes, 💚
Lighthouses: ❤ (I already have more than 100 different lighthouse postcards. If possible, please use other motifs of your choice!)
Windmills: ❤
Sights from around the world: ❤
Wildlife: ❤ (polar bears, penguins) 🐻
and people as they live 👫

Since I have already received quite a few of the above postcard requests, I decided to expand my wishlist. I would like to start a collection with the "Blue Cats postcards" by Rina Zeniuk 💌:
Christmas cards and New Year greetings are welcome in December and January ❄🎄.

It's nice to get postcards from my wish list. But now I get the same motifs more and more often. To avoid this, it would make sense to look at my favorites before sending them. - Many thanks! 🎉
(Please NO multi-views and maxi-cards, if possible).

Some beautiful postcards and stamps that I have received, can be found on my website under "Postcrossing". 👍

Sometimes I send postcards that I made myself from photos 💌.

I scan all my postcards before sending. If you send me cards, which are not scanned and uploaded, it's no problem. I will do it for you before registering.

Expired postcards = 58 (2.1 % of all postcards sent)
