My name is Fran and I live in suburban Virginia, not too far from our capital, Washington DC.

I collect stamps and postcards, love ro work in my flower and herb garden, read a lot and also knit. My reading includes history, fiction and literary criticism. I knit a lot of socks since they are like a canvas where I can play with color and texture. And lots of hats!

I'd prefer postcards that represent where you live; landscapes, buildings, local artist or museums.

If you live in Germany, I would love to get a postcard with your city's name on it.

I would also love to get postcards of animals or nature; I'm a contributor to Greenpeace.

And I'm always happy just to get a postcard!! Each one is welcome!

I am not interested in exchanging stamps or coins. I get a little forgetful at times and may forget to send anything back to you.
