Hi. I am a 39 year old female from Rumford, Maine USA. My town is nestled at the base of the Western mountains of Maine where most of the ski resorts are located. We have beautiful mountains, rivers and spectacular views. We may not be in a part of the country where tornadoes and mudslides are that much of a worry, but we do get blizzards, the occasional earthquake (usually minor) and fall-out from Atlantic hurricanes.
I live here with my husband and our two Norwegian Forest cats.
I have always loved to receive postcards. Landscapes, city views, wildlife, almost anything about a country is welcome. I also love to see the old architecture of a city or country.
I have an English degree from college and have always loved languages. So, if you want to write something in your native language with a translation, that would be great.
My husband and I love to go cross-country skiing in the winter and kayaking in the summer. We are also inordinately fond of books and book collecting. We love to read! I also enjoy making jewelry for gifts and for fun.
