Dear postcrossing world,

I am born and raised in the Netherlands, but I have moved to Canada since. I am fluent in English and Dutch, so feel free to write in either language. I also know some French and German. If you don't make the words too difficult, feel free to write in those languages too.

I love receiving mail, but nowadays everything seems to be send electronically, while the catch is to be excited when something is waiting for you in your mailbox.
After completing studies in Leisure Management, Psychology and Sociology, I work as a Child and Youth Worker Supervisor, which I absolutely love to do.
I am in love with my cats (and my husband of course), who all love me back! My cats are fantastic animals, always in for some cuddles or willing to play. One of my favourite animals is the giraffe.

I like postcards with animals, Disney, scenery, cards that make me laugh and pretty cards. I am a sucker for everything sparkly and shiny. My friend makes 3D cards that she sends me, which I love. I am not a fan of ad-cards or free cards.
I would love to hear something fun that happened to you lately, or tell me something I don't know yet! I would love for you to teach me a word in your language, if it is another language than Dutch or English. Be creative!

If there is any chance you can use a stamp that is either pretty, cute or represents something important that happens in your country, that would be great. I am planning on creating a stamp collection from all the postcards I have received.
