I'm 38, married over 4 years and living just 5 miles from downtown Orlando Florida with my wife and two cats.

I enjoy traveling and have been all over South America, and have started going to Europe. I speak a little Spanish - took it in college and I speak even less German - took it in high school.

I've always loved sending postcard on trips to family, friends, and co-workers (I think they make good souvenirs) and was happy to find the Postcrossing website.

I enjoy history and historical sites and love watching aircraft - grew up near a jet base and enjoy going over to the Kennedy Space Center to the shuttle and rocket launches.

But any postcards will be enjoyed.

(If you want, your favorite recipe would be enjoyed - I like to try different foods while traveling, especially desserts.

Also for those in Germany, I would do almost anything for some Bären Treff gummi bears. I feel in love with them after two trips to Mainz in 2008 and find all others in the US to be lacking... If you visit the store downtown they know me as the "Joe" sending postcards.)
