Hello!

My name is Mervi, I live and I work in Jyväskylä. Jyväskylä is the city of the world famous architect Alvar Aalto. He lived and attended school in Jyväskylä. The City of Jyväskylä has some thirty buildings designed by him, more than any other city in the world.
My hobbies are walking, jogging and biking in the great outdoors. I like to watch how landscapes are changing at different times of the year!
Other hobbies are reading books, baking, cooking and handicraft (mostly knitting, crochet, sewing). I listen to a lot of classical music, I like the most baroque music.
I am interested in the various countries of the world and I would like to travel more!
But happiness is a postcrossing! I can see the different countries through the cards!
So I love idea of postcrossing! :)

Here are some of my favorite postcards that I would like to receive:
- country/city views, also tourist attractions of your country
- great old buildings such as the castles, manors, the royal residences...
- beautiful nature scenery such as the waterfalls, beaches, mountains, sunsets...
- wildlife animals of your country
... and in November it would be very nice to get birthday cards!

I am happy if You could write greetings or some words in your own language with a english translation!
