I'm a translator and a terminologist (a person who makes dictionaries :-). I live in a small town near St. Petersburg.
Postcrossing for me is the way to explore the world. It helps me to discover new places and new people and choose my future destinations. Beyond that I like postcards O_o
I prefer postcards with sights of your city, town or country.

- blondes (because I'm the one of them)
- movies and movie stars (I like old movies primarly - Old Hollywood, Hitchcock, Film Noir)
- rock stars (especially the old ones)
- surrealistic things
- Mount Fuji (especially images from Hokusai's prints)
- His Master's Voice logo and its variations (a dog listening to a gramophone)
- Miyazaki and Ghibli films
- ancient Latvian signs
- letters, hieroglyphs, words, qoutes etc.
- Keep Calm cards
- Royal Mail stamp cards
- First Day of Issue Cards from Australia
- Penguin books cards (Puffin Books cards or other cards with book covers are also welcome)
- Tori Amos <3 (I'm her big fan)
- Futurama
- Gravity Falls
But if you want to send me something different I'll be glad too.

I'm not interesting in direct swaps. But if you like some of my sent cards or cards from Russia and Saint Petersburg I can make an exception and send you such cards in exchange for my favs.
