Well, I'm Polish but I live in India and it's probably gonna take a while, so I've established my Postcrossing account while being here. Let's see, I'm vegan/vegetarian, I study Tibetan as hard as I can or sometimes not as hard as I can. I am a translator but I would like to become a professional translator/interpreter of Buddhist teachings directly from Tibetan into English or Polish. And slowly, slowly I am getting there. That's my goal.
So I live in McLeod Ganj at the foothills of the Himalayas. People know this place more commonly as Dharamsala. His Holiness the Dalai Lama is my neighbour. His Holiness the 17th Karmapa also lives not very far away and I translate for His website.
I've traveled a lot, mostly around Asia, to places like Lebanon, Vietnam, China, Tibet, Nepal and most extensively India. My blog is coming up soon, so I'll try to share many stories there. The website is in the phase of preparation now, 'cause I want it to be perfect. I used to be a university teacher, now I am a tour guide/leader, always a translator, and soon maybe a small business owner. We'll talk about that later. Much later.
Send me whatever postcards you'd like to send. Write something about yourself. Biographies and autobiographies are the most inspiring books for me, and even a few sentences written about someone on a postcard can be really eyes opening.
