About Beatričė...

Temporary update January 2024: I am moving to another apartment in end of May, so I will remain inactive until I do. Hoping the accumulated mail I will receive include congratulations on my move. :)))))))

Beatrice. or Bea, Bee or just B. 31. originally from Lithuania, based in Stockholm suburbs now.
In my free time, I tend my plants of which I have over 30 now, since moving to Sweden in April 2023; look for more plants; travel around neighbouring towns and cities while looking for more pretty postcards I could send you all.

🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

I've been into things related to Nordics, mountains, little red cabins, houseplants, blooming plants (such as peonies, sunflowers), jungle, botanical gardens, the more green leaves, the better!, Persian/Exotic Shorthair cats, Great Dane, Newfoundland dogs, Scandinavian characters from books/fairytales, Adidas brand and Volvo cars (they are my favourite!), owls lately.
// any stuff related to geology, would be lovely.

or just show your town's the most beautiful place. however, I will love anything you send to me.

Little update: dear Postcrossers from Portugal,
I would be really grateful if you could send me unwritten touristic postcard in an envelope. My mom is crazy about your country. Or do the opposite. Send her greetings. :) Thanks.
Dear Postcrossers from Canada, especially people from BC or even Sea to Sky Region residents: any touristic views would be wonderful. I used to live in Squamish for some time, I am cannot wait to go back and visit the Chief and my friends again!

I am interested in direct swaps with Nordic Postcrossers, especially from Sweden. Feel free to ping me directly at beatricevilkaityte@gmail.com.
I'd prefer to receive cards sized 10x15 (4''x6''), thank you. :)

I travel to visit my family quite often, so I am sending some of the mail from Lithuania using travel mode to save up on the postage, as it is quite pricey here in Sweden.

Please be kindly reminded that we are not supposed to collect numbers on our sent postcards, by asking our recipients to register cards that have not reached the destination. Everybody would just contact their recipients without even sending a card. What is the purpose do to so? One does not receive anything and the other will be receiving tons? :) That's not fair. So please do not ask me to do it.
Also please please please please set your profile as INACTIVE when you go out of town/leave for an extended vacation at least for a week. This helps our postcards avoid becoming expired. I am looking at you, school teachers. :)

Fun fact: PostNord is delivering mail every other day (Mon-Fri), so while having my address/postal code you can estimate when I may be receiving/registering your postcard: https://www.postnord.se/en/our-tools/delivery-day.

Until then,
Beatrice
