About Fay...

Hello, I am a high school teacher. I have lived on three continents (North America, Europe and Africa). I love to travel but do not do it often enough. I also love to learn languages but do not do it or practice the ones I have learned often enough.

My favorite color is purple and I love to read and to knit.

On your post card I would like it if you:
Tell me something I should visit if I come to where you are.
Tell me the date and the temperature (Celsius is fine).
...but if not that is fine too.

I used to collect post cards when I was little. It has been many years and now I am so excited to get started with postcrossing. :)

I will love any postcard I receive however...

I especially love scenic post cards and love things that showcase your culture, traditions, foods, arts/crafts, traditional dress etc. Yet I still do enjoy funny cards, cards with sayings etc and am HAPPY with anything you are willing to send.

Oh, and I would really appreciate any postcards of The Little Prince "Le Petit Prince" from countries/languages other than France/French (I already have a lot of him from there as I am a French teacher).

Please do NOT put the postcard ID # at the bottom right lower quadrant of the card (under the address), since the U.S. postal service tapes over it making it hard to decipher the number.

I have a magnetic framed map where I will be keeping track of my received postcards offline, can't wait to put YOU on my map!

Have a great day!

P.S. I am VERY interested in doing direct swaps with la francophonie or French speaking/studying people all over the world so I can show the connection to my French students and show them the immensity of la francophonie and the French language. Merci

Also, please note that I check my post box at least once a week (usually weekends) so don't fret, I register cards ASAP.
