About Kira...

Hello everyone!

I'm Kira from Moscow and I'm 48. My interests are fine art (pencil drawing and watercolour), music (still Depeche Mode fan), foreign languages, reading, yoga, pole sport (getting ready to celebrate my 50th birthday with pole dance as J.Lo )) people with a good sense of humor and many many other things I discover for myself some times unexpectedly. Knitting and Postcrossing for instance...))
Joking aside I really find amazing the idea of postcards interchanging all over the world!

Besides I would like to collect postcards for my 11-years old daughter Maryana. I suppose it would be great, if she will get acquainted with this Wonderful World and the culture of different nations through real postcards of real people are living on this earth. I want her to understand that the world is big and people are different. I would like to see my girl is growing up open-minded, communicative person with vivid interest to people.

You may write about place you live, books and films recommendation, whatever is interesting or important to you...
So I have no especial requests and love absolutely all the cards people send to me. It is already cool that the person was not too lazy and wrote to me a couple of words. I would like just give a hint to simplify choice and tell you about my sudden addiction I've developed to some kind of cards for)):
- surprisingly I've known about maximum card (or maxicard, that not issues every country),absolutely awesome cards!
- cards that say things in foreign languages
- people's day to day live in place you live
- your favorite music bands or movie characters
- cartoon characters
- drawings and sketches
- postcards by illustrators
- Inge Löök cheerful old ladies ( love and want to be the same someday))
- funny postcards (people from German are good at this type of postcards, I've already have some comical, it's really amusing))
- musicians and musical instruments (my daughter plays clarinet...
she will be pleased...maybe...who studied at a music school will understand))
- map cards
- postcards of unusual shape
- black&white or vintage photographs
- or whatever you find interesting to share is welcome!

And finally, we enjoy and collect stamps too!:)

Thank you in advance!
Waiting for getting things in the mail!
