I stay in South Africa, in the province Gauteng, in a little village next to the Klip River called Henley-On-Klip. I am married to Cornelia and we have two grown children. My daughter moved to Thailand in May 2005 to be an English teacher. We miss her terribly. Sadly, my son passed away at age 24 on 8 September 2019.

Pets: We have 3 cats & 1 dog.

Activities: I love swimming and cycling. 2017 was my 4th year to do and complete the 94.7 Cycle challenge. The race takes place in and around Johannesburg for the distance of 94.7 km.

I've been a collector from age 9 when my mother bought me some stamps. I love to collect stamps from different countries. I've always collected postcards of places where I've been. I would love to receive postcards from other countries.

I like my postcards written and stamped.

If I could choose I would like to receive postcards showing:

- people, especially children in traditional clothes
- cultures from different parts of the world
- Postcards of your country's flag
- GF - Greetings from (postallove)
- Postcrossing & postcrossing meetup
- Postcards from your town/city
- Postcards of famous artists and paintings
- We hardly ever see snow, so postcards with snow covered places are welcome.
