About evania...

Terve!

I'm 1991-born girl from Pori, Finland.

In my free time I'm interested in many different things.

First, I'm keen on photography and I'm eager to learn more about it. I have Nikon D5100 and there is so much left to learn! If I go somewhere I try to remember to take my camera with me. Sometimes I see a perfect landscape to photograph and pull the camera out of the bag just to notice the battery is empty...

During winter my favorite hobby is knitting. Specially I like to knit socks. It is very relaxing and empowering. Somebody may ask: "Doesn't she ever get bored to knit socks?". My answer is simple - never! :)

I also like to listen to music. What kind of music do you like?

One of my hobby is also Geocaching and I'm very excited about it. I've visited places that I didn't even know exist.

I try to live in the moment: don't look back or worry about tomorrow. It's pretty hard - specially if you are a melancholic Finn ;). But I'll do my best and I think I will get better every day, even if I or no one will become ever ready. I'm pretty reflective person and I try to relate to the world like little child: wonder its miracles and appreciate it.

I like art deco and art nouveau art, style and architecture. Old and modern black and white photos are beautiful too and makes me think and imagine. ..Sometimes I feel like I'm living in a wrong century. :)

I also love animals and I would like to have a cat but I'm allergic to them and all animals. Sometimes that makes me sad. But luckily there are Aki and Turo, my parents' cats. They make me laugh every time I see them.

In contrast to all this there is a litlle nerd living inside of me and that's why I'm interested in science (like chemistry, microbiology, physics, astronomy, psychology..). Oh and space too!

I appreciate if you are able to send me:

- art deco or art nouveau themed cards (Tamara de Lempicka, Erté, Cassandre, Théophile Steinlen, Alphonse Mucha, George Barbier, buildings)
- Naïve art, colorful, childish, happy cards
- old photos (everything you consider as old)
- black and white photos
- animals (no insects, bugs or reptiles)
- Christmas cards in December

Of course I'll respect every card you choose to send me. :) I don't mind the size of the card or if it is advertisement/self-made.

Don't be afraid to contact me if your card has been on its way over 60 days.
