Hi everyone!

I have been Postcrossing since 2015 and I love both sending and receiving postcards from around the world. I am interested in both direct swaps and pen-pals if you don't mind sometimes slow replies, so if you send me a postcard please include your address and I will send you a card in return.

I currently live in the state of Michigan in the USA, in the Upper Peninsula or "U.P." for short. I'm very close to Lake Superior which is the largest of the five Great Lakes of North America. It's a very big and very cold lake and I love swimming in it and walking along the beaches. I'm a graduate student studying environmental policy. I have a small dog named Zeus who looks like a mix between a Schnauzer and a pug. He's grumpy and ridiculous and looks a lot like Yoda from Star Wars.

Some of my favorite things to do are:
-Travel [My favorite places: Alaska, Washington, Mexico, & Spain. I have also been to Costa Rica & Norway]
-Spend time outdoors hiking and camping
-Open water swimming - my longest distance was a 2 mile swim in Lake Superior for charity.
-Cook and eat vegetarian and vegan meals
-Play board games with friends
-Play ice hockey, but right now I am taking a break from hockey to learn the great sport of curling!!

My favorite postcards include:
-art from your national artists
-wildlife, especially birds and ocean/lake/river animals
-"Keep Calm and ____" postacards
-city views or historical buildings
-your national sport or favorite hobbies
-unique foods from you country, even plants and fruits
-unique, funny, quirky, or interesting cards with your language on them
