I am a fifth grade teacher in Ann Arbor, MI. I love the concept of sending and receiving postcards from around the world. We learn a lot about writing during the school year, and I'm trying to bring back SNAIL MAIL! This will be a fun project to share with my students. I welcome any kind of postcard!

We (me and 22 cool fifth graders) are having a blast getting cards from around the world. We would love to hear about where YOU live!

- weather
- anything your home town is famous for
- history of your town/state/province
- interesting facts about you or where you live

When a new postcard arrives, I put it on the classroom "white board" and read it out loud to my class. We are also keeping track of where the postcards are from on our class map. Thank you in advance for helping my kids learn about authentic writing!

My two dogs, Stella and Mabel (both English Springer Spaniels) are our unofficial class mascots!
