About Elena...

Ciao a tutti! Hello, everyone!
My name is Elena, I live in northern Italy and I'm glad to know you are somewhere in the world. I'm a psychologist and I mostly work with kids and teens. I'm an animal lover, avid reader of all kind of books, compulsive drawer and a serial accumulator of unique, beautiful and useless things :)

I choose cards after carefully reading each profile, and I believe in reciprocation.

I'll love every kind of postcard you will send me (your choice is completely free!), but, please, don't send me computer printed cards or free ones. Handmade cards (which means that you made the postcard with your hands, not that you printed it!) are always welcome, as well as Christmas, happy new year, Easter, any other festivity and birthday cards (but please, only when it's their time!) :)

I would appreciate if you don't send me blank postcards and do not put only the postcard ID or only the classical "Greetings..." or "Happy postcrossing" on the back of the card, since I'll appreciate everything you'll want to tell me. I'd also love a drawing made by you as the postcard text or a decorated card as you can see here: http://www.postcrossing.com/blog/2013/04/07/fun-ways-to-decorate-a-postcard. Your favourite quote with the translation in english and the source is another great postcard text, as well as a recipe (I love cooking) :) If there is nothing written at the back, please tell me what the postcard is about. Please, do not cover the postcard's descriptions. Please, do not send me postcards wider than 21x13cm (8x5in) because they won't fit in the box where I store them :(

Although I really like their variety, I do not collect stamps of any kind, so feel free to keep your best ones for collectors (but I'll be happy if your card for me is super stamped!).

For me it would be perfect to receive a postcard with something (of every kind) you love, like, find intresting, funny or beautiful on it and read about that and yourself. I also love unusual, particular, unique, astonishing, bright coloured images (take a look at my favourites if you want, they include both cards I have received and cards I'd like to receive) as well as touristic images.
Don't forget to include the date, the weather and temperature and your signature in your original language/alphabet on the card!

Don't know what to write on the card? Tell me: what does your name and/or surname mean in your language and culture? What would your last meal be? What are your political views and/or your country's political situation?

Grazie! Cheers! :)
