Hi my name is Anja.

I live in Germany in a small town surrounded by hills on one side and green fields and a train track on the other. My family consists of my husband, our two daughters of six and one years, me and a little dog.

I love to read fantasy and science fiction, my favorite authors right now are Ilona Andews and J.R. Ward. The same applies to movies. I don't have a TV anymore but like to stream on our laptop. Try the new series "The Orville", if you are into space science fitcion like Star Trek. Lately I spend my free time knitting :)

I'm interested in all different kinds of postcards, such as:

- cards depicting a job/profession
- animals: My daughter loves owls. ;), robins (the little bird with the red chest), sloths (those slow furry animals living in the trees of the rain forests), forest animals, or send me a card of an animal typical to your region
- beautiful or surreal landscapes (such as Antelope Canyon or Sossusvlei, Namibia), crazy rock or tree formations
- extreme nature or weather (such as deserts, glaciers, moon, thunder, storm, high water...)
- touristic single view cards
- art nouveau/Jugendstil (such as Alfons Mucha)
- fairy tales (if your card is about a local/national fairy tale, please tell me something about it!)
- cards from movies such as Star Trek, Avatar (no horror movies please)
- science fiction or fantasy motives
- birthday cards in July
- Christmas cards at Christmas and Easter cards at Easter, any other holiday card typical of your country (no military ones please)
- ...

Oh, and by the way, I love pictures of towns and places of the 19th and early 20th century. So much has changed!

Please, take some time and write more than just "Hello and Take care!". If you don't know what to write, here are some suggestions:

- If you like send me a recipe you like to cook or bake.
- Or tell me what you did today (and what you rather had done).
- Write your favorite motto in your own language (along with a translation, please ;).
- On a holiday card tell me a little about how you are spending that day.
- What book are you reading currently and why do you like it?
