About Elise...

Salutations!

My name's Elise and I'm a witty, mysterious, alluring and enamouring Australian lass from a quaint coastal village called Hawks Nest. Currently 19 years old, I am studying dentistry at university and I'm loving it!

When I’m not frantically studying for upcoming exams, I am usually feeding my obsession for foreign cinema, reading novels and spending time with my beloved canines, family and friends. I also possess an unwavering penchant for rowing, cross country running, alternative music, anatomy, writing and playing the violin. I'm incredibly passionate, peculiar and I possess a rather witty and wicked sense of humour. I also REALLY love words! Esoteric and verbose vocabulary always brightens my days! :D

I’ve always been fascinated by people and the way they live their lives in disparate areas of the world… Currently I’m really quite fond of Finland as it’s just so antipodal to Australia (especially in terms of temperature!) and I also feel an affinity for Germany, Sweden, Japan and Pakistan, among various others. All in all, I indubitably love broadening my global consciousness through engaging with people from a gamut of countries, thus my love for Postcrossing.

Particular postcard favourites of mine:

- Violins and string instruments.
- Black and white postcards.
- Cute animals. I own a papillon puppy and she’s to most adorable organism ever to grace the planet! <3
- Unfortunately there’s hardly any snow in Australia, so anything depicting frigid weather, icicles, Wintery scenes etc is much appreciated! ;D
- Anatomical and scientific cards.
- Artistic cards.
- Anything humorous.
- Postcards depicting quintessential facets of your country.
- Christmas themed postcards are also welcome in November/December!

I undoubtedly get so excited when I discover postcards lying in my mail box so I am more than happy to participate in direct swaps with anyone! I shall endeavour to find a card that you desire!

Vielen Dank!

Cheers,
♥ Elise
