About Eija...

I`m Eija, I live in rural with my husband and a German pointer, Rilla.
The NATURE, FIRE, WATER AND THE EARTH are very important for me. I read a lot and listen to jazz, soul and classical music. I´m interested in natural and slow life, boating, fishing, gardening and native music, especially music by drums. I love to travel with my husband, daughters and friends.
Colors are very important to me. I like colorful clothes, books and cards and I love garden cards: painted, photographed, drawn.
Fairies and foxes are my favorite creatures.
I like watch people at their everyday work, especially I like pictures of women. ( painted, photos, drawn, old, young, sad, glad, famous, unknown...)
I read a lot. I'm curious person and traveling and books satisfy my curiosity.
When I was young girl I helped my father to make photographs. He took lots of photos and then we sat in a darkened room to make photos. It was exciting, - the magic moment when the picture appeared, so since then I have loved black/white photos.
I also like unusual and weird things.
But most of all I like postcards and your greetings from all over the globe.

I also appreciate the story on your card. Please write me something - what is important to you, where is the most favorite place, where do you want to travel, the strangest thing that happened to you, some childhood memory...

P.S. If you happen to find a card by Lori Everett, I'd like to get one. Thank you!
