About Chad...

Hello! I'm very new to this community, but I'm trying to learn more as I go.

I stumbled into postcrossing because my grandmother left a large stamp collection to the family. In wanting to learn more about it, I found the Exploring Stamps YouTube channel by Graham Beck (linked below), and through that I discovered postcrossing, which I find to be absolutely fascinating!

I think my favorite thing about postcrossing is how it helps me learn of all the different areas and cultures around the world.

As for a little about me, I live ~40 miles from my state capital, St. Paul, in Minnesota within the United State of America; I work in the Information Technology field for a local government entity; I'm in my 30's; and I have one cat named Kitty who's been with me since 2006.

Topics I Enjoy:
- Technology (new and old)
- Finances (I'm a numbers guy)
- Automobiles & Motorcycles (new and old)
- Outer Space (just learned about astrophilately! - linked below)
- Supernatural & Fantasy Topics
- Art & Drawings
- Animals of All Kinds (tigers are my favorite)
- Outdoors & Scenery
- Board Games & Puzzles
- Music & Musical Instruments
- Comics & Comic Strips (Marvel, Calvin & Hobbes, etc)

However, I'm excited to receive postcards of any topic!

Possible Questions to Answer on the Postcard:
- What's your favorite animal?
- Do you play an instrument?
- Does your country/culture have any unique instruments?
- What is your favorite thing about your country/town/area?
- Is your area known for anything famous/historically?
- What is a word or phrase in your language that you could teach me?

Side Note:
My mother plays piano and organ and has started her own YouTube channel to share music with the world. She absolutely LOVES talking with people and seeing views from other countries. So, if you also enjoy this type of music, I welcome you to check out her channel (linked below) and comment on any videos you enjoy. She responds to every one.
