Hello there!

My name is Meike, I'm 37 years old, happy mum of Dylan and Eris. (I joined Postcrossing before Eris was planned, hence my username...) I studied English and German at university, enjoy reading, doing crochet, baking, cooking, making jam, gardening - all those mumsy homey things!

I gave up the internet for Lent in 2011 and found it rather liberating to be back to writing letters to friends again. Just like in the old days! Since then I've been making a conscious effort to send more mail through "snail mail"... I love getting postcards from my friends - so why not from you?!?

Send me anything you like, tell me anything you like! But I do like touristy cards and cards with recipes on (as long as they're in a language I understand or if you provide a translation) and Dylan likes animals (sea / water creatures, he's a big fan of the Octonauts) and all sorts of vehicles. It doesn't matter though. Getting a postcard will make that day a happy one.
Just two things: Please no free ad cards; I find them a bit - well - disappointing, if they are literally an add with offers. And your card should be suitable for children too, so no erotica please.
