Hello, the followers. Strange at it might seem born and bred and schooled in Edinburgh, Art School (Newcastle) and then served in the army (FFL) now a postman in the UK. Married with two adult children who have flown the Cuckoo nest, but we have acquired four insane cats (strange). Hobbies, well anything from collecting junk mail, Downstream access logos, covers, postmarks, meter marks, anything that has gone through the postal service.
If possible within the rules of Postcrossing when receiving a card from me would it be possible to mention if you receive a cancellation, and what logo is used to cancel the stamps, just a description even if poor.
I have for the last couple of years tried to put stamps that correspond to the recipient on the postcards. I am coming to an end of my stamp collection of 40 years, so I might revert to just to a £1.85 stamp or to the next price, but in most cases will be a definitive stamp. Will still try and send beautiful and new stamps, but Royal Mail is difficult to work with
At the moment I am in Albina in Suriname. Albina does not have a Post Office (the nearest being Paramaribo 260 km round trip, let alone queue at PO) neither a shop that sells postcards. I am buying cards and stamps in St. Laurent du Maroni (French Guyane) and will post from there. At the moment I can only send to the USA from Suriname. Sorry for all the inconvenience and time warps between asking for address and posting.
So far SR-704 up to SR-717 were all posted the 27.04.22 at the Post Office at St. Laurent.

I am now back in the UK
