〓 1. INTRODUCTION 〓
Welcome to my profile! I live in Katwijk aan Zee, a coastal village near Leiden (where I studied laws) and The Hague.
I like reading and listening to classical music, especially opera and oratorio. My favourite composer is Giuseppe Verdi, my favourite singer is Maria Callas. I am interested in history, foreign languages, genealogy and collecting coins.

〓 2. PREFERENCES 〓
Of course I will try to take into account your preferences. My preferences and suggestions are:
▷ Postcards that give an impression of your hometown, or the region or country where you live.
▷ Postcards with some text in your own language (and alphabet). Suggestion: a bible verse, or a text from another world famous book.
▷ What I also would appreciate is that you write something about yourself, for example: what was the last book you read, and did you like it? Or: what do you know about my hometown or my country?
▷ Rather send no envelopes but postcards, in the normal format (ca. 15 x 10 cm or 6" x 4"). This format makes it easier to store.
▷ Could you please write the date, your name/username and hometown on your card?
▷ I am grateful to receive cards with special stamps.
▷ I have no objection to ad cards or selfmade cards, provided that they are somehow typical of your country. No Touchnote please, because these cards lack a real stamp.
