Hello to everyone,

first of all I must say "thank you" to all those who sent a postcard to me. I received so many wonderful postcards! I like all of them on my postcard wall. But recently I received some ad-postcards. I don't like that - I buy postcards so I do expect to get also bought postcards. And to the German members: bitte keine Harenberg Karten - die habe ich selber reichlich!!

To all stamp collectors: it is nearly impossible to get non self-adhesive stamps in my town so it might be impossible to get them off my postcards.

I am Ute and I live in the north of Germany between Hamburg and Hanover. I live with my family (my husband and my daughter).
I'm a christian and I go to the Baptist church in my hometown.
I'm a vegetarian - I just don't like meat and fish. And I prefer green tea to black tea and coffee.
In my rare free time I like reading historic novels especially by Rebecca Gablé. Or novels with strong women. And I like knitting, taking photos, travelling, meeting with friends ....

I enjoy choosing a postcard for the Person I have to write to and writing it. But I also like to receive postcards.
- I love (love, love, love, love) tourist cards of Y O U R town, area or country. Receiving a postcard with a photo or more of your town or area to me is sometimes learning about places I'd never think of but always very interesting. And it would be nice if you tell me something about the photos or about your town … Normally I try to find additional informations about your place in the internet.
- it would be nice if you choose normal size:15 x 10,5 - they are easier to store in one of my albums.
And if you are from a country with different letters and you want to – only if your want to - you can send me a piece of a newspaper or a magazin or ….
I try to write a personal message to all recipients, but if there's nothing about the person except a wishlist - I just don't know what to write.

And please:
I D O N O T LIKE postcards with ANIMALS: cats, dogs, horses .... cute motives or ad cards. I do not need any stickers or washi tapes or things like that. And I don't need postallove cards.
