About Dominika...

Hello there!

My name is Dominika and I live in the south of Poland. I work as a physiotherapist trying to make my way in the world! I firmly believe that life is too short to limit yourself, which is why I want to see as much of the world as possible and I try to seek out new experiences at every chance I get. I enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities - kayaking, sailing, mountain climbing - you name it! But my favorite way of spending my free time is without a doubt trekking in the mountains. There's just something wondrous about waking up early in the morning to watch the sun emerge from behind the mountain peaks, walking for hours till your legs are giving out, sitting around the bonfire and just enjoying yourself with the people that share your love for the nature - these are the moments worth living for!

Some other things i enjoy include musical theatre, reading fantasy books and classic novels (Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen being my all-time favorite), listening to music (I cannot imagine leaving my home without headphones!) and playing board games with my friends. I've also learned how to play ukulele during lockdown and I would like to learn how to play piano someday.

I will be happy to receive any of your cards but I'd be extremely grateful for postcards showing some sort of wonders of nature (national parks, mountain landscapes, waterfalls etc.) or places worth visiting in your country. Maybe you'll inspire me to arrange a trip someday, so I can see it with my own eyes!

It would be very special if your postcard says something about you, such as what brought you joy recently or what would you like to do if you had a chance. Anything that lets me get to know you better is highly appreciated! I also like to learn about other cultures so I'd love it if you shared with me some custom or tradition typical for your country or a national dish you enjoy cooking/eating.

I'll leave you with my favorite quote:
"There's no point in being grown-up if you can't be childish sometimes".

Happy postcrossing!
