Hi there! I just joined postcrossing and trying to get a feel for this place. I’m a Dietitian (healthcare worker) so I get pretty busy during the weekday. I put most of my creative efforts on the weekend. I spend that time collecting, organizing and using my sticker collection. I taught myself how to hand sew back in middle school, and using my skills to make my own face mask. I have only traveled to one country outside of USA and Canada, and that is Japan. I love Japan. I’ve been there four times in the span of three years but have not really learned much of the language. If you know Japanese or another language beside English, I would love to learn a word or phrase.

Some topics and ideas for your postcard:
-Anything I can learn about your country/state/city/provinces
-Personal hobbies (i.e. hiking, collecting, knitting, art/crafting, etc)
-Things you like to watch on TV or the internet (including movies)
-Type of music or musician you like
-Dream vacation, aspirations, weird dreams you have last night
-Putting stickers, tape and/or unique stamps on your postcard (I love stickers!)
-drawing and doodle on the postcard! (I’m learning to draw sometimes too)
-current events or a milestone in your life (i.e. newly married, children/grandchildren/pets, birthdays, etc.)

As for the type of postcards...I’m open to all types but I do like illustration/drawing/art postcards. Postcards from your location are great too! I also like strange or funny or unique postcards.
