Hi! My name is Maurice and I live on the island of Curaçao! I'd love to receive cards about your hometowns, just to get an impression of where and how you live!
I also like cards with (local) jokes on them, local stuff, everything aviation/flying, space, science, cultural heritage, vehicles, boats, planes, rare objects, rare creatures, people, funny pics, funny construction errors, should i go on?

Ooh, and Asian proverbs and writing I also admire!

My interests are traveling, flying, wind and kite surfing and just relaxing on the beach with a cooler full of drinks and snacks (which is what we do most of the time here anyway).

I speak English, Dutch and some Papiamento (the local language) and I am learning Spanish at the moment. German, French and Portuguese can be found somewhere in the back of my mind. I like to learn new languages so I would enjoy reading something, even if it's just a little bit, in your language!

Yes, as you may notice from the number of cards and people who are postcrossing in my country I do get a lot of requests for private swaps. I'm sorry to disappoint you, I decided not to swap. You'll just have to be lucky to receive a card from me! ;-)

Also, I never send my cards the same day as I request the addresses, so the traveling times as stated when you register my card is at least one week too long.
