About Dawn...

My name is Dawn Logan. I live in Texas on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. I spend a great deal of time out of doors. My interests include gardening, swimming, singing, snorkeling, astronomy, hiking, golf, stain glass art, classical music, square dancing, biking, travel, scrap booking, collecting postcards, volunteering at our local wildlife refuges and two grandchildren ages 11 and 17. I am fond of plants and animals. Several years ago I completed a Master Gardening certificate after long hours of classroom study and compulsory volunteer hours. Last year I completed a course of study to become a Master Naturalist in order to do volunteer work and attend seminars and advanced training at our Sea Center which is also a fish hatchery and Brazorian National Wildlife Refuge.

I would be pleased to receive postcards relating to music, wildlife in a natural setting, marine life, unusual rock formations, bridges, trains, planes, wildlife, astronomy, extra terrestrial, art (Monet) and serene settings in nature. My favorite colors are shades of pink and blue. I also delight in postcards with a touch of nostalgia. I am interested in places you like to visit in your own country. Please tell me something that is going on in your life. I take great care to read each profile and write a message related to your interests. Upon receiving your postcard I google information about the place on the postcard. I have done scrapbooking and saved postcards for most of my life. One entire room of my home is a library of travel books and pictorial family history! I am pleased to find an organization which will help me continue to accumulate fabulous postcards from all over the world. Whatever you send, I will fancy it as I have a broad, eclectic taste!
Additional ideas:
Tell me about your family traditions, childhood memories, do you have a favorite poem? Share a fact that I might not know, perhaps something important that is happening in your country. I enjoy learning.
