About Sakthi...

I am an aficionado of radio, finding solace in tuning into international broadcasts. Classic English literature, including novels by Nobel laureates, captivates my literary pursuits. Currently, I am honing my skills in Morse Code. Authoring ten books on radio stands as my notable accomplishment, with a particular focus on "The Postcard" in 2021.

Explore my compilation on "The Postcard" via my Instagram page: @Postcrossing_India_Swap. My aspirations include embarking on the Trans-Siberian Railway journey. I draw inspiration from radio producers and presenters, considering them my role models. In addition to my radio-related pursuits, I have a penchant for collecting used stamps, particularly commemoratives.

My latest endeavor involves crafting a book on Postcrossing. My collection now extends to postcards and stamps featuring themes such as Gandhi, UN, Covid-19, radio, TV towers, studios, old/new microphones, satellites, printing, book covers, magazine covers, and matters related to mass media. Notably, I maintain an album for radio postcards to prevent duplications, accessible at: [Flickr Album Link](

Furthermore, I am intrigued by special material postcards and stamps, encompassing diverse mediums such as vinyl, tissue paper, copper, plastic, relief, cork, magnet, leather, wood, porcelain, metal, 3D, PC with hard stamp, puzzle PC, and messages in a bottle. Additionally, I collect stickers, badges, pins, buttons, DX magazines, books, coins, banknotes, and pennants from various countries.

I hold a particular fondness for Europa series, soccer commemorative stamps, lighthouse stamps, minisheets, special postmarks, and maxicards. I appreciate beautiful stamps and am especially drawn to Postcrossing stamps, as well as those featuring Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Leo Tolstoy, Anton Chekhov, university themes, lighthouses, postboxes/post offices, Covid-19, and Gandhi.

For Round Robins members, my collection extends to FOTW, MOTW, WT, WOW, HPC, GF, Countries of the World, United in Diversity, Cloud Series, CCUN, ICON, MCPS, Blue Cat, Loupaper, MCPS, Covid Warriors, 150 years of postcard, WPD, Map of your city, Museums, UNESCO World Heritage Site, Monuments, lighthouses, and significant historical buildings of your city, country, or region.

I extend a warm invitation for contributions to my daughter Yazhini's stamp collection, as she is a high school student eager to receive stamps from around the world.

Your thoughtfulness is appreciated, and I value any card you send, particularly those adorned with commemorative, colorful stamps.
